Markus Diederich

Markus Diederich, born in 1964, is a Director of the Kienbaum Management Consultants GmbH, with particular responsibility for the company’s automotive, mechanical engineering, chemical and pharmaceutical industry clients as well as the public sector and the energy market. His consultancy interests focus particularly on questions of growth and organizational development and on aspects of procedural excellence and commercial restructuring efforts.

Markus Diederich can look back on over eleven years of active consultancy experience. His last post before joining Kienbaum was that of the Managing Director of Celerant Consulting’s German operations, simultaneously acting as a member of the European leadership team of the company. His responsibilities at Celerant covered both the international “client portfolio” programme and domestic and international acquisition and project management activities for large-scale change management projects. Over the course of his career, Markus Diederich has had the opportunity to gain many years of experience in the private equity business. Before beginning his professional career as a research assistant at Thyssen-Krupp,  Markus Diederich completed his academic studies in Metallurgy and Material Sciences at the RWTH Aachen. In his long operational career, Markus Diederich has also held the position of the Head of Development at a mechanical engineering company.
