Nikolaj Bøggild holds a Master of Science in Business Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He works as a Director in Kienbaum’s Public Management division.
He has 15 years of experience of management consultancy in the public sector. He has been responsible for projects on behalf of the European Commission, various national and international ministries (i.e. DE, DK, CH, IT, NL, NO), numerous ministeries at federal level as well as foundations and international companies.
His core competencies lay on the strategic development and evaluation of public funding as well as on the impact oriented organisation and management of public organisations. A further area of interest is industry and business analysis with a special focus on national and international benchmark analysis. He has profound knowledge in the area of process analysis and activity based costing projects. By this he has gathered strong methodological knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Due to a variety of national and international projects in the area of measuring and reducing bureaucracy and administrative costs Nikolaj is one of the leading international experts in this field.
Nikolaj is a very experienced project manager of (international) large-scale projects. He was member of the project management team on the multi-million Euro Europe-wide study to measure and reduce administrative costs on behalf of the European Commission with a project team of more than 180 consultants and country teams from all 27 countries.
Nikolaj is fluent in German, English and Danish.
